No complaints, large menu and fast delivery, food tasted good. Also a large restaurant

Some say it's not good but we say different. We enjoy the food and anytime we go out anywhere we go as a family so it makes it so much better. Mongolian beef excellent.

Very good food and drinks at a fair price. The service is excellent. There were 7 of us dining in and the food all came out at the same time. The actual place is okay, better than most Chinese places.

Food is delicious, great takeout, and overall great atmosphere. Don't knock this place till you try because their food is so good I keep coming back for more. Such a great spot!

Came here with the fam and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Whenever I was in this area I would always be curious to check out this spot and I'm so glad we finally did. It was pretty quiet when we went, but I am thinking it was because it was a snowy/rainy day and nobody really was looking to go out. We popped in and got a table not too far from the entrance, but pretty secluded behind a half wall and partition. The table was round and we were able to see each other and talk across the table. This was perfect to catch up with the Fam. We started out with drinks and I opted for the Tropical Sunset. Boy were they not light with the pour. Once you mix the drink it was very tasty and definitely very tropically. We also decided to start with Beef Negimaki and Cheese Wontons. This was a really hard decision because there is literally so much on this menu that we really wanted to try. I ordered one of the special Asian fusion rolls, the Peace Roll. It had spicy kani, shrimp tempura and avocado on the inside with spicy white tuna on the outside. And it was 12 pieces! The roll itself was so filling I didn't need the extra sweet potato roll I ordered. Other family members ordered hibachi fried rice, beef and broccoli along with many other dishes. They portion size was very generous. The food all around was very tasty. And the service whether a quiet night or not, was impeccable. They also brought steamed dumplings for the baby and he couldn't get enough. I was jealous because they were also very delicious. Excited to find places like this!

Asian fusion spots are always hit or miss for me, but I can confidently say that Golden Star does a good job of executing all of the different offerings on their menu. My husband and I have been ordering takeout from Golden Star for many years, and though we don't live locally anymore, Golden Star is our go-to spot when we can't decide between Chinese food or sushi. Love how we can get the best of both worlds. Our typical order usually includes - BBQ Spare Ribs - Jumbo Shrimp with Honey Walnuts - Shrimp Tempura Roll - Salmon Tempura Roll - Salmon Avocado Roll Sushi is usually made well. The rice to filling ratio is perfect in which the rolls are not overly rolled with rice. The tempura seafood inside of the rolls are always nicely crispy adding a good texture/crunch to each sushi piece. With respect to the kitchen items, they are also usually cooked well. The BBQ Spare Ribs are tender and flavorful and the Jumbo Shrimp with Honey Walnuts is always generously packed with lots of shrimp. Love the combination of pineapple and walnuts they also include in the mix of the dish. A nice combination of sweet and savory! Is Golden Star the best Asian, Chinese, Sushi I've ever had?...Definitely not. However they are a solid choice (and one of the better choices in terms of taste and quality) in the area. We typically order our food for pickup, so I cannot comment on the delivery service. We have not had any issues going into the restaurant to pick up. Our order is usually ready within the specified window of time they provide us.
